The W Initiative

W Initiative is a humanitarian foundation dedicated to improving quality of life for children and young people. We will do this by supporting projects that empower children through education, improve children's health, and increase equitable access to opportunities.

A FOUNDATION FOR EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES

The foundation will support projects both in Norway and abroad. Project work must be based on the UN's sustainable development goals 3, 4, 5, 6 or 10. The UN's sustainable development goals constitute a global, joint work plan to eradicate poverty, fight inequality and halt climate change by 2030.

W Initiative will contribute to the improvement of education programs, better health, and more equitable access to opportunities worldwide.

A DESIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I WANT TO CONTRIBUTE. IT'S ESPECIALLY MEANINGFUL WHEN IT'S ABOUT CHILDREN'S HEALTH AND OPPORTUNITIES IN LIFE. THE GOAL MUST BE THAT W INITIATIVE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.
Gustav Magnar Witzøe
Chairman of the board and Founder of W Initiative
